Were going out to dinner on saturday because we really couldnt do anything because of work, which makes the suprise flowers so much better. But i was so excited because today one of them bloomed the perfect way -- so i took another picture.

haha i didnt have a vase, next best thing Gatorade bottle

before the flowers bloomed

I went Home!!

So this weeked i decided that i would go home for friday & saturday so that i could visit family but then be back Sunday for the temple dedication. Before the Temple dedication had moved, my plan was to come home this weekend anyway.
So let me tell you how my night went. We left rexburg at 6 (suposed to at 4:30) and arrived in Rupert 2 hrs later. Not a bad drive at all -- really clear actually. I was totally planning on suprising my parents about me coming home, so i had been talking to them all day to try and figure out what their plans were for Friday night. My little brother was going to a basketball game and parents were going to a movie. Pretty simple and i thought that it would be a piece of cake to surprise them. I guessed wrong. My parents ended beign hungry and decided to go out to eat and go to the late show instead. My little brother decided he would just hang out with my parents and didnt go to the game. So now im sitting at Derek's (David's little brother) church basketball game (which they won against view 1st ward) trying to figure out how i was going to meet up with my parents. Well the only was i figured was to crack and tell them that i was in Rupert. So we talked and i they ended up picking me up and i joined them for the movie. We went to Fools Gold. It was actually a really good movie except for this one part that was not even 30 sec long, but was horrible none the less. Not to give away story parts but when Matthew McConaughey is in the water and teenager come up in the boat, be preparded to close your eyes or look away. Its right after one of the guys says something. So just be careful -- other than that its a great movie.

Surprise Dinner

So today i had to work a crazy shift because i had meetings in Idaho Falls all morning. So i was pretty much logged in since 8 am to 7:30 pm. It was nuts. Because we had to start so early; much earlier than are normal shift ( 1pm), we had to cut time so that we wouldnt get over time. So today i left at 7:30.
I dont get a chance very often to get off early -- or maybe i just dont take advantage like i should -- but because of that i dont see David (the wonderful bf) very much. So i came up with a master plan knowing that on Wednesday’s he has class till 10 pm (which is usually when i get off work). I had it all planned out -- i was going to make him dinner & dessert and i had 2 and a half hrs to do it in before he came home. So i gathered up all my things and headed off to his apt to make dinner. While finding a parking spot i noticed that his card is still parked in the parking lot -- but no worries maybe he decided to walk to his class, so i didnt think anything of it.
As i get to his apt and open the door -- low and behold there he is sitting on the couch skipping his class. I couldnt just help but to laugh because anytime i try and surprise him it never works because he is never where he is supposed to be. haha.
I think both of us were shocked to see each other because we werent expecting each other. I then explained to him that i was going to make him dinner, because i havent gotten the chance to lately and that he now ruined my plans. Laughing at me he said something along the lines of that he was going to surprise me and make me dinner and have it ready so when i got off work i would have a meal already and waiting for me. He went on to tell me that he had already been thawing the hamburger and that i wouldnt be making my dinner because he was still going to cook for me. (Extremely cute & thoughtful)
We had a wonderful dinner though. My only suggestion is that if you are planning on surprising someone makes sure they are where they are supposed to be.

I love having girls nights and feeling like i have some really good friends that i could always turn to if i needed. Next semester is going to be a blast as well. We might all move complexes together or stay here who knows. We'll just have to see. I love you Sabrina, Chelsey, Laura, & Melissa!!

Here's Some Pic's:

Super Bowl Sunday!!

So it all came down to the NY Giants vs New England Patriots(Me vs. Mom). It was amazing game. So i am totally picking Red Lobster cuz it amazingly good sea food. So Carissa hurry up and pop so you can have some. We'll have all you can eat King Snow Crab Legs. YEAH YEAH!!!
