Wedding Bells

Alright its been a very long time since I've gotten on here and posted anything. But it my defense its been a crazy 4 months. So let me catch you up. So i dont know if i mention this or not in my last entry but David & I got back together on my birthday. Our break up only lasted 2 weeks. Then the week after my birthday he proposed :)!!! Exciting huh!!!! So then I had lots of wedding planning to get done. For someone who knew everything she wanted and be planning since forever, I had no idea what I wanted or how to get it done. So running around like a crazy person, I atempted to plan my perfect wedding. And by perfect I really mean perfect, everything had to be the way I wanted it and nothing less. But I quickly realized between a mother, a mother-in-law, a future hubby, and a budget It wasnt going to be the fairy tale wedding that I had always dreamed of but still an amazing one. I found the perfect dress, perfect sneakers to wear under the dress. It took us a little longer to find everyone's dresses. With 9 sisters to dress, they are all going to have different tastes. So we finally got all the dresses not for invitations. We sent out 900 invitations. David & I decided that between my dad and his dad they know pretty much everyone. So the day finally came and we got married in the Bountiful, Utah Temple on Janurary 17th, 2009! That is one thing I didnt budge on was which temple. It had been my favorite since I was little. And as an added bonus we both had lots of family down there that was able to attend. From there we had a luncheon with all the family and then split our ways. David & I took off to the Anniversary Inn to stay for 2 nights until we would fly to Cali. and go on a cruize. We took our cruize down to Mexico and had to stops. There was so much good food on the trip I really think that I gained 10 pounds. It was all you can eat all the time and it was all quality resturant food. And the best part of all is I didnt have to lift a finger at all. We actually brought back quite a few cool things. I have this painting that a guy painted on the street using stray paint and a piece of paper. Its really cool. Also at one of the places in Mexico we got to go snorkling. That was way fun but i was really scared at first. David actually lost his wedding ring in the ocean. Oops! After our week long vacation we came home to Rexburg to freeze to dealth. We went from 80-90 dgree weather to -7 degrees --- brrr. We then had our reception that next weekend on the 31st and the Best Western. It was so amazing. There were so many people that came through the line that we stood there for 1hr 45 min of our 2hr reception. But there was lots of good food!!! Sadly our cake didnt make it to the reception. On the way over it slipped apart because of the filling inside. So we borrowed Walmarts display cake and the best western made a little one that we could cut and have pictures with. We were able to serve the cake and it was delicious!!! David's aunt Sandy did a wonderful job. Once i get all my pictures back i will post a ton so you all can see of wonderful trip and wedding.
