So for David & My anniversary my parents decided that they would get us a gift, which I thought was very nice of them. (David thought it was weird that they would get us a gift, but I told him that that was how my parents were and they like to do things like that) To be perfectly honest I was way excited because come on who doesn't like gifts no matter the occasion :)!!!
So at first my mom said that they were going to get us a couples massage like they did for my sister and her husband, but after David's first time of getting a massage and it not being as enjoyable as they are suposed to be he is really hessitant to try it again, even for our annivarsary. So there had been this painting of the Bountiful Temple (my fav and the one we got married in) that I had been wanting really bad but wasn't going to get one any time soon because painting are expensive and lets face it I'm a poor college student -- I cant afford anything. So they got it for us!! I was way excited that my parents were will do to that.
Here is a picture of it -- In person is way better, but this will give you an idea.Beautiful huh!! Well I was super exvited today because it finally came. I had been patiently waiting and was so happy to get it today! As soon as David and I were both home I made him hang it for me! I'm still sooo giddy like a little kid about it because I just love it so much and so grateful that I have this amazing painting.
This second picture I thought I would post is the one that Rod & Shirley got David & I for christmas in 2008! It took me a whole year to pick out the picture and then decide on the color tone. My sisiter-in-law Kyla found it at CostCo for me! I was way excited because I just couldn't decide what I wanted. Plus I was being especially picky because I love the real painting look and you just don't get many -- so I had to make sure that it was absolutly perfect! And it is YEAH!!
So even though we've had this one since christmas we just barely hung it today because I wanted to wait until I got the Temple picture to decide how I wanted to decorate.
So here is what it looks like -- and again it looks much better in person so come and visit :)!!
